Flomax or otherwise known as tamsulosin belongs to a set of drugs so-called alpha-adrenergic blockers. It relaxes the muscles around and within the prostate and bladder neck to make it easy for urination.

Composition

Flomax (tamsulosin) is mainly consisting of TAMSULOSIN HYDROCHLORIDE. This drug is in capsule form at 0.4 mg strength to be taken via oral route. Among the inactive ingredients of the drug are calcium stearate, gelatine, ferric oxide, and microcrystalline cellulose.
