Nebilet belongs to the group of medicines called beta blockers. It usually dilates your veins and arteries and hence reducing the pressure needed from the heart for blood to flow. Among the drugs that interact with Nebilet we have: antifungal medication, heart rhythm drugs, seizure medication, other blood pressure medications, acarbose, cimetidine, and nefazodone. These drugs will have undesirable results when used with Nifedipine.
The side effects associated with this drug are breathing difficulties, facial swelling, hives, swelling of lips and tongue swelling.
Nebilet should be stored at room temperatures away from the reach of children.
